old man friends vs. pedophiles

So this weekend I went to the record store downtown to see my old man friends. The guys who work there are really cool and they can talk for hours about music, especially psychedelic rock (my favorite kind.) But some might be concerned that being homies with baby boomers might be hazardous to my being. Well, first of all, I am a baby boomer (at heart) so I'm just one of them. Also one has a wife and speaks fondly of her so I'm assuming there is a lack of sexual frustration that might be taken out of me. Which is really good.
Last night I watched Elimidate and Full House. Both fairly good episodes.
Then I listened to my "Best of Eric Burdon and the Animals", which is their psychedelic years, of course. The best song is "St. James Infirmary" but there is also a respectable cover of "Paint It, Black" among things. While I listened I added to my Hunter S. Thompson rip-off. Wasn't really a good part, but am setting it up to reenact a bizarre dream I had.
Then I watched my favorite part of Woodstock, which is actually about an hour long. It's from the end of the Joe Cocker performance to the end of the first disc (the end of Crosby, Stills and Nash doing "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes")
Then I went to bed and read "Howl" in a booming voice because that's what makes it come alive. I memorized the first four lines and am quite impressed with myself.
A fairly productive day, if I may say so myself.
