je suis home!

Yes, yes, my pop-over to Vancouver was excellent, and I arrived home to the greatest of news. Mary-Kate has the loveliest new hair colour! So much more flattering...
So I didn't actually get my dual citizenship yet, but I did manage to do some shopping. Not clothes shopping! Book and music shopping. So much easier; you can leave your clothes on...

I got a copy of the beatnik classic (and Bob Dylan's favorite book) On the Road by Jack Kerouac.
Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention LP Freak Out!
Marianne Faithfull's Broken English.

A successful shopping trip? I'd say so. But it's fantastic to be home and blogging again...Did you miss me?

Oui! You're back and just in time for a Tyra fix. Nice shopping score, btw. You should really check out The Tudors, (unless it sucks then forget it was moi who said that) it's all King Henry VIII time period with fancy costumes and the such. You have to be into historical fiction (like Rome on HBO) to enjoy it, I think. But for real yo, do you really need an excuse to watch anything Jonathan is in...

Welcome back my lovely. Glad to see that Ms. Olsen has done something nice to her hair...

Broken English looks fantastic. Love that you chose it for your icon pic...

of course we missed you, child.
antm tonight!
i'm throwing a little ANTM soiree. some friends and i are planning to sit around and systematically work our way through everything in the kitchen whilst mocking the fabulously douchey contestants (and hating them for being skinnier than us.)
and while i was planning it i thought
"molly would be so into this."

welcome back...On The Road is a Must Read...if you are into that you need to read Keroac's Maggie Cassady, it will make you ache, and it is a more accessible read as a woman, it's a love story, they way only keroac can tell it.
