Canada's Next Top Model is a very very blatant rip-off of ANTM, just to let you know. The judging room is exactly the same...the whole "There are two photos in my hands. The girl whose name I don't call must immediately return to the house, pack her belongings and leave.", the photo screen, the way the stand, the judges table. It's all the same. What's different? Well, the judges. Jay Manuel is the host which pleases me so much because I can never have to much Jay. He's clearly been standing in the shadows while Tyra does her thing, rubbing his hands together and giggling "One day that will be ME" and that day has arrived! With Jay in the Tyra role, who's in the Jay role? Well, this will be nice because you all will remember from the first few cycles...Nole Marin! The Judge!
Apparently...he's Canadian. And desperate for work! It's always fun to see a familiar face.
The judges are Paul Alexander, a photographer, Jeanne Baker, a fashion correspondant and some very skinny model who I do not recognize.
I've spent over an hour scouring the Internet for pictures from the photoshoot (which I'll get to in a minute) and I can't find any that are available to save to personal computers. Verry frustrating. Well, actually I found one, but it's not of my favorite contestants.
Speaking of favorites, mine are...
Tara, the fierce sort-of Jade-from-cycle-6 lookalike
Rebecca, the actually-pretty-hideous, but has-an-awesome-haircut former hot-dog-maker who leaves-work-covered-in-blood. And just in case you didn't get enough -, here's-a-little-more.
Because this is Canada's Next Top Model, the first photoshoot was nude. Yep, that's the Canuck way, we jump right into it (or should I say out of our clothes). I'll continue my search for Tara and Rebecca's photoshoot pictures, but for now, here's Cori's.
