wallowing in my own materialism

Well, it's my birthday. List of presents:
-two Love CDs ("Forever Changes Special Edition" and "Out There")
-the Arctic Monkeys CD
-the Five Day Week Straw People CD
-"Love Janis" (a book)
-two Doonesbury books
-a Freud book
-a Love book
-a really cool Jimi Hendrix shirt
-"Monterey Pop" DVD
-a peace sign necklace
-two pairs of flip-flops
-two old Rolling Stones (one with John Lennon on the cover and one with Led Zeppelin)
-90 dollars cash from various family members
-a book called "Taboo Tunes: A History of Banned Bands and Censored Songs"
-a chocolate croissant for breakfast
Rented "Fight Club" and "The Doors" and watched them both. They were both splendid.
