i work in a LIBRARY for god's sake

I love to read.
And I'm sure you've all been secretly wondering, dreaming about, guessing during Math class, what on earth my favorite books are!

If you are content just guessing, don't read any further.

My favorite book of all time: The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe. It's a nonfiction novel (my favorite genre!) about one of my idols, Ken Kesey, and his Pranksters.

And now, in no order (because I get too stressed out trying to put them in order)

Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk (definitely not for the weak of heart/stomach/bladder)

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. The man is a genius. A sick, sick genius.

Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi (I'm fascinated with Charles Manson -- see my last post)

Hippie by Barry Miles. Beautifully illustrated and great prose.

Somebody to Love? by Grace Slick. As you can imagine, Grace Slick writes an killer autobiography.

I'll do another post with more later (I'm running out of post ideas!)

(Did you notice that it let me post six pictures here but not at my Sexiest list?? Damn Blogger.)
