hmm

Okay, America's Next Top Model keeps heading in the wrong direction.
First of all, I'd like to say, you can't force someone to inspire someone or be a muse. That was the most ridiculous challenge! A designer being inspired by a model is something that happens naturally, and being a muse isn't a skill you can judge or acquire because it's simply being yourself.

This is probably the worst cycle yet, but that being said...

In this picture, this looks like the most model-y looking top seven yet. The clothes are wack though. Speaking of wack clothes, those outfits they "inspired" were awful. I don't know if it's because they weren't inspirational enough, or just cause the designers was a bit too amateur.
Anyway, this photoshoot pleased me because it wasn't over thought out or too commercial.

This picture is good, but I think the arm on the brow looks cheesy. Still, Jenah pleases me more each episode. Hence me posting her picture first...you noticed, right?

I think Saleisha's picture was incredible, for some reason I like it when people stand with their legs like that. Don't ask me why, though, I'm pretty bizarre.

Chantal did quite excellent as well.
Those Chinese animal-thingys made me laugh. Personally, I've never really wanted to go to China, and I never really associated it with haute couture, but God forbid they go to Paris or London twice!

I like it when they travel to interesting places. Thailand was unusual for me, but I liked the way it showed a fashion side we don't usually see. I adored the cycle to Japan and thought it made sense, but then again I am partial to Japan.

Thank goodness it wasn't me in there, I dont think I could handle the heat. It looked sweltering hot. I like it when they travel it mixes it up a bit.

I thought Saleisha's picture was really good. Like I wouldn't be all that surprised to see it in an actual magazine. (I think they'll probably return to Paris next season, being season 10 and all. I hope, anyways, because China is really scraping the bottom of the barrell.)

THANK YOU! I thought that was the most ridiculous thing ever.

I had to pop in and visit because Jody hasn't posted her ANTM thoughts yet!
I agree about the muse/designer challenge, those dresses were HORRIBLE! I think it was trying to catch the Project Runway gravy train though.
Loved Chantal's pic! wow!
Oh,yes heaven forbid they do a country twice!

I almost died when the Chinese animals came out, Tyra camps it up more and more each season, is she secretly a drag queen? I LOVED this weeks photoshoot. Not sure if I will have time to post. I actually though Ambreal's was brilliant. Her face never looked better and the juxtaposition was so awesome. Hi, look at me sitting here having a modely picnic well my car freaking burns in the dessert. LOVED. Um, the runway in the beginning, is Tyra trying to get all Project Runway?

did you not think it was hilarious when twiggy and this very dignified looking guest judge started waving ribbons in the air? I was DYING.
