cos thats how love is, folks

I love satire, and I stumbled across this genius book at the library and I couldn't resist.Truer Than True Romance by Jeanne Martinet.
It takes those farfetched love comics from the 40s - 70s and replaces the captions.

Problems such as being in love with your best friends fiance become "I Hate My Hair!"
The normally lovestruck, silly women become narcissists, extremely dim-witted, obsessed with their carry-on luggage or constantly in love with gay men. It's lovely to look at, nostalgic and hilarious.
I can't even concentrate on writing something witty because I'm too focussed on the pictures.
