you got me on my knees

Right now I'm reading Wonderful Tonight: George Harrison, Eric Clapton and Me by Pattie Boyd (whyyyy on earth was she not on my most beautiful list?? I know I considered her, but why I decide to omit her? I seriously need to re-do that).
I haven't even gotten to the part of her meeting George Harrison yet, but it's completely enthralling. She's an absolutely incredible woman. Anyone with an interest in the 1960's, the Beatles, Eric Clapton, groupie or modelling should check out this book. But I know you don't want to hear me talk, you just want to gaze in awe at Pattie Boyd and her gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh (not to mention George Harrison and his!)

they were $129 at DSW... which is probably cheaper than where they are other places. and thank you!

also I may have to go out and get that book... it's on my list of groupie reads along with I'm With the Band by Pamela Des Barres. I love that stuff haha.

Please post and lemme know when you get to the juicy George Harrison details. I'm dying to know!

I know only the superficial stuff, but what does Patti have to say?!

She's definitly got that whole wide-eyed, long-legged thing down. Damn her.

Just read about her in Nylon. She's pretty interesting, albeit a bit of a dollface and nothing more substantial...

Years ago, i saw Patti being interviewed and she mentioned that she felt bad that she could not give George and Eric the one thing they really wanted--a child.

does she say this in this book?

George's son looks just like him and is a great musician, so I guess it was a good thing he remarried-- also his wife Olivia jumped in and saved him from being killed by a knife wielding attacker.

I want to read Patti's book
