ashcan rantings: it's getting to the point where i'm no fun anymore

I'm sorry my posts have been rather scarce as of late. I've been suffering from writer's block. Normally, I would post anyway, something lazy or pseudo-existential. This time, I just couldn't. I wouldn't say I'm back to full capacity but I have summoned up a few things that I can talk about, hopefully ably.I do return to you bearing excellent news. I just bought tickets to go see the amazing Crosby, Stills & Nash on June 3rd.

They're one of my favourite groups so I'm very, very excited.

Also, I feel it is my civic duty to point out (because it's not getting enough/any airplay) that the new Gnarls Barkley song is incredible. It's called "Run" and the video is, in the words of Justin Timberlake who makes a (okay, I must confess) cameo, crazy fresh. It failed the epilepsy tests so if you're prone to seizures, I'd advise only watching the first two minutes. If you watch it and have a seizure, please don't sue me, but know I'm deeply sorry. I can tell it's not going to be as big as "Crazy" and maybe that's for the best. I wouldn't want to get sick of it.
