life is brief but when its gone, love goes on and on

I was recently reminded of an important omission from my Sexiest Men list, though I suppose he wouldn't have been eligible in the first place because, see...technically, uh, well - he's not a man.

He's not even a boy.

He's a fox.
No, literally. It's Robin Hood!
I know I can't possibly be alone in my attraction to Robin Hood. Even Nicola agrees with me...and we think it must be the voice.

Skip to 1:17, and hear his remarkable voice, British accent and all, say with full sincerity "Marian, my darling, I love you more than life itself."
Try not to swoon.
Of course, a one-in-a-million voicebox alone is not cause for a semi-bestial crush. Robin Hood also posseses many qualities I search for in a man - er, partner.
And as a special bonus, his lady love, Maid Marian, also has a great voice - a great singing voice. Here's "Love", which I adore so much that I put it on my iPod. It reflects the mellow awesomeness of Robin and Marian's relationship and is probably my favourite Disney love song.

I've never seen the Disney Robin Hood film! :( I've missed out here - I adore the 'Love' clip, the song is beautiful and the animation is so breath-taking!

PS. With my pictures on the sidebar - I've added a 'picture' gadget individually for each picture and then in the link box of the picture, I've typed in the link to my category. I hope that made sense!

I loved the first sentence you wrote so much. And you're right, in the first video at 1:17... It's wonderful. I'd love someone to say that to me. Not with 'Marian', of course ^^
Those pies at 4:50 look good ^^ But then, Disney pies always look good.
And the scene with the elephant is so funny too!! :)
Marian's singing voice sounds so different from her talking voice...

Kevin Costner should be embarrassed, ashamed, that he couldn't even scratch the surface of cool in comparison to the cartoon Fox Hood. Not even close.

One of my favorite movies as a kid! He was quite dashing for a fox, I've always secretly thought his voice was amazing! I agree with Eyeliah Eric from the Little Mermaid was so handsome! As was Aladdin... I think I should stop watching so many Disney movies.. :D

I love Robin Hood as a kid as well. I was just so disappointed that he was a fox, and not a real human!
